Description
The project represents the construction of a new school building according to the architectural design by Atelier Kouba and its connection to the existing building of the Trade Secondary School in Sokolov. The project is particularly interesting due to the diverse composition of study programs (confectioner-baker, carpenter, hairdresser, decorator, and others) since the education of each has entirely different needs. This also corresponds to the project’s complexity, the construction itself, and its operation.

Scope
MFS DX’s role in this project is BIM coordination. Before the start of the project, MFS DX updated the tender documentation, including requirements for the use of the BIM method and requirements for processing a laser scan of parts of the existing building. During the project, attention was primarily focused on continuously meeting the investor’s objectives, proper use of the BIM method, spatial coordination, and verification of the completeness of required non-graphical information in individual digital models, considering the goals of each design phase and also property management after construction completion.
