MFS DX Services

Building Information Model, BIM

represents key part in the digital transformation of the construction industry. This complex approach is built on both graphical and non-graphical information contained in the models and allows efficient team working, cooperation and communication in all phases of the project. MFS DX offers clients in both public and private sector BIM support to transform organisations to became efficient in using BIM processes via BIM strategy definition, development of the key documents of the organisation such as Employer Information Requirements (EIR), BIM Execution Plan (BEP), BIM Protocol and others. MFS DX can also provide team members to the organisations – Information Manager, BIM Coordinator or BIM Manager. These roles are typically required by developers, architectural and design studios, main contractors or facility managers depending on the goals and project stage.

Common Data Environment, CDE

MFS DX is helping with research and selection of the Common Data Environment, CDE based on the project specifics and individual requirements of the organisation. Our experience covers all common and building industry specific CDEs incl. tailor made add-ons and bridges. Our services cover initial analysis, tender support, implementation and maintenance.

BIM Strategy

BIM Strategy is definition of individual steps, leading to organisational BIM maturity.

These processes usually start with current workflow reviews, human resource, software and hardware analysis, definition of the Client’s requirements with focus on the core business, BIM implementation specifics and programme of works.

BIM transformation

Based on the BIM Strategy the transformation is the gradual progress in agreed steps leading to full BIM processes implementation.

BIM documents & templates

MFS DX is developing for our customers specifications for BIM projects to allow future compatibility with the Client’s workflows, processes and requirements.

BIM Management

Provision of the BIM Coordinator/ Project Manager allows our Clients to build and develop own internal teams and benefit from know-how and synergies. MFS DX team members ensure the data management is undertaken correctly and information models are fully compliant with the EIRs.

Asset Model Creation incl. data integration

Digital Twin & Digital Passport

Digital twin is virtual digital representation of the real or future asset enabling individual data sources and solutions to be integrated and efficiently cooperate. MFS DX is primarily using Building Information Models and solutions and software platforms used for facility management. Where there are existing assets without BIM data available MFS DX can re-crate Building Information Models based on the non-digital inputs such as as-build design in combination with point cloud scanning and AI data conversion.

BIM Strategy

Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR)

Virtual models are complimenting wide range of services and can be produced at any project phase to allow deeper and quicker understanding of the complex or larger constructions and processes. MFS provides virtual models for project management, 5D analysis and detailed PR and sales models incl. live non-graphical data where required.
