The multifunctional complex Dornych creates a new attractive point in the wider centre of Brno. Instead of the current decaying department store, a new partially covered, freely accessible public space with shops, offices and housing will emerge.

The building envelope of Dornych consists mainly of unitised system facades and capped and structurally glazed stick system facades. Windows designed from an aluminium facade system, rainscreen cladding with aluminium shaped sheets/cassettes, folding sliding doors, steel canopies clad with aluminium cassettes and ETICS with brick slip cladding also form part of the project’s facades.
