MFS have provided facade consultancy services to O’Donnell Tuomey Architects throughout all phases of this high profile academic building project at the Dublin University Grangegorman Campus.
The facade of the Academic Hub Building consists of natural stone cladding, aluminium curtain wall and roughcast lime harling render. The specialist stone works included the innovative use of Kilkenny Limestone in projecting cill, perforated wall and suspended soffit configurations as well as in standard wall and parapet conditions. The curtain wall package included large expanses of glass and steel constructions enclosing large open areas to various atria and double height spaces.
