MFS were appointed on this substantial refurbishment project to assist the architect with the technical development of the facade design and to undertake a technical review of the specialist facade contractor’s design documentation and installation works.
The new facade of this listed building is intended to replicate the appearance of the original facade while providing modern levels of technical performance. Glazed elements will be constructed using stick format curtain wall systems with high performance double glazed infill panels. Opaque elements will be formed of polyester powder coated aluminium rainscreen cladding mounted on light weight metal wall systems.
