This residential building for young professionals, which is located in Paris’s 15th arrondissement, is part of the “Inventing the Greater Paris Metropolis” initiative. The lightweight timber-structure residence designed by architect Hardel Le Bihan is built on a deck over the ring road to create a link between Paris and its inner suburbs.
MFS was appointed to develop the facades’ design comprising a bespoke engineered and panelised copper rainscreen system mounted on the timber structure and a glazed externally ventilated double skin facade forming winter gardens. The West facade comprises externally ventilated double skin aluminium framed units with integrated solar control blinds.
